Glenda A. Smith & Pedro Sanchez

In 1994, Glenda A. Smith bought her first piece of investment property. Every property Glenda purchased, but for one new build, she restored. She is a practicing attorney. Glenda’s son, Pedro Sanchez, is a Journeyman Electrician, carpenter, and very knowledgeable in building trades. After joint projects with Pedro, Glenda and her son decided to go into business together and S&S General Contractors, LLC was born.

Pedro was raised by a single parent and born in the mid-west. Pedro started a lawncare business at age ten (10). He earned the reputation of being dependable, self-driven, highly motivated, and goal oriented. Pedro made good grades in school, but soon lost interest and dropped out of high school his senior year.  Shortly thereafter, he earned his GED.

Pedro went to Indiana Vocational Technical College, but again lost interest in traditional education and left.  In his early twenties, he began working as a carpenter and going to the school of hard knocks.  Pedro loved carpentry, but was frustrated with the lack of organization.  His mother suggested International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 648.

At IBEW Local 648, Pedro found his niche and the association he had been looking for.  For five (5) years he worked and learned at and through IBEW Local 648.  In 2015, upon graduation from the IBEW Local 648 Electrical J.A.T.C. program, Pedro earned the Klein Tools Award for Outstanding Scholarship and the Electrical J.A.T.C. Honors for five (5) years of perfect attendance as well as his journeyman license.

Pedro is a Journeyman Electrician and holds many licenses. He works at MillerCoors, owns Sanchez Real Estate Holdings, LLC, S&S Real Estate Enterprise, LLC and S&S General Contractors, LLC. Pedro has integrity and has maintained his reputation of being dependable, self-driven, highly motivated and goal oriented.
